The brief: a chalet at 1,600 metres with unobstructed views of the Matterhorn, balancing alpine tradition with contemporary restraint. Reclaimed centuries-old larch timber lines the walls, contrasted by concrete and brushed steel.

A central double-height fireplace anchors the great room, while floor-heated stone flooring and integrated underfloor heating create warmth in every sense of the word.
