Question 1

What does a typical project cost?

Accepted Answer

Full service is charged at 15–20% of the project budget — on a $500K project that is roughly $75,000–$100,000 in design fees. A two-week design consultation is a flat $5,000, credited in full against full service if you continue. The pricing page breaks the three tiers down.

Question 2

How long does a project take?

Accepted Answer

The studio publishes each phase's duration rather than a total: one to two weeks of discovery, three to four of concept, four to eight of development, eight to sixteen of procurement, and one to two of installation. It does not build, so the calendar runs on the contractor's programme as much as the studio's, and the dates go into a written proposal before anything is booked.

Question 3

Do you work remotely?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The studio works with clients wherever the project is: design, specification and procurement run remotely, and the studio travels to the site for the phases that have to be in the room. Travel outside the home region is quoted in the proposal.

Question 4

What is your design process?

Accepted Answer

Five phases, in the same order on every project. Discovery opens on how you actually use the space; concept design settles the direction; detailed development fixes every specification; procurement orders and inspects the pieces; installation places and styles them. You're involved at every milestone.

Question 5

Do you source all the furniture and materials?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The process covers all procurement, from custom millwork and bespoke furniture to art curation and accessory sourcing. Every item is specified by the studio, ordered on your behalf and inspected on arrival.

Question 6

Can I be involved in the design decisions?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We present curated options at every stage — you choose what resonates. Our job is to narrow the field so every choice feels confident, not overwhelming.

Question 7

Do you handle construction and renovation?

Accepted Answer

The studio does not build. Every commission runs alongside a vetted general contractor, and the design side is managed here — from space planning and material specification to on-site observation and the install.

Question 8

What styles do you work in?

Accepted Answer

Contemporary, transitional and classic, depending on the building and the brief. What unites the work is a commitment to quality materials, thoughtful proportions and rooms that feel personal — never generic.
