A venture capital firm in SoMa asked us to reimagine their headquarters as a space that projected both gravitas and approachability. The existing layout was a maze of cubicles and dropped ceilings — we stripped it back to the concrete shell and started fresh.

The reception area features a monolithic walnut reception desk and a curated gallery wall of emerging Bay Area artists. Meeting rooms are lined in acoustic felt panels in deep charcoal, with brass-framed glass partitions that maintain visual openness while ensuring acoustic privacy.
